From Tia Cibani Fall 2015

Fashion week started last week over at Tia Ciabani’s presentation, where the past was very present. Situated in the ballroom of the Hotel Wolcott, antique-scented incense was served alongside a pianist who played in the background and it created the melancholy mood. The models had their hair piled high on their heads, serious, yet playful.

Victorian velvet dresses and gowns were in muted shades of dusty rose and topaz. The tulip skirt was a key shape, either made from sculpted marled wool or pleated silks. My favorites are the wide-legged pants down below!
