Who doesn’t love a great sale? On designer duds? At over 70% off retail? Seriously, I didn’t think so. I tend to go a little crazy for sample sales, and I bet if you look closely at me in the next few months worth of photos, I will be wearing most of my purchases on a daily basis. The truth is, I love a bargain. And to me, what’s even better is when I shop these sales, I am not only promoting the economy, but recycling in a glammy way. The skinny: Unwanted threads that go marching down the runway, are fitted on models, and never get produced; becoming one-of-a kind samples for us mortals. The sizes range, but I find they are normally a size 4 and built for an amazon, not the vertically challenged like myself. If you’re lucky enough to be in that size range you’ve hit the jackpot. But buyers, beware! I’ve had my stuff stolen from my right underneath my nose. For me fighting for shmattes is an occupational hazard. Agreed, it’s a cut-throat hobby that’s not for everybody. Let’s focus on the positive people. Just watch below to see the loot I scored in the past month.
