Game Changer

Being a New York girl, even in the warm weather, wearing shorts to work or to a meeting was never really a viable option ever since I can remember. However, neither are pajamas. But the tide is changing and now almost anything goes. Paired with blazers, jeans can really werk an outfit like nobody’s business, vests are the new motorcycle jackets, and white wrap shorts are my new favorite go-to piece.

My goals are to establish a uniform that is comfortable to wear, yet can be mixed and paired with a multiple of different pieces in my closet.  While staring blankly into my closet each spring and wondering what to wear, I came up with this theory of keeping a separate rolling rack in my room with all the basics– white, black, loads of denim, and a pop of color here and there. Keeping them separate really identifies their true power.

The magic of fashion is the ability to transform who you want to be on a daily basis. Feeling playful today? See above. Feeling strong and confident? See below. Feeling like a celebrity? op on those sunglasses. It takes years to create an easy dressing routine, but once you know what looks good on your skin, you can master the art of “I have nothing to wear today” dilemma we all face.
