Summer is in full swing, which means it’s time to start thinking about all of your fun plans in the weeks and months ahead. And while you might be feeling like summer is just getting started, (cue the fireworks), the 4th of July is just a few days away. If you’ve been thinking about doing something special, to celebrate America! for the 4th this year, don’t let it sneak up on you. Whether you’re the type to love a poolside brunch, or you want to take advantage of the long weekend at the beach or lake, start your packing now for a really great 4th of July.

I am planning to head out east for the long weekend, see friends, and enjoy the long days and magical nights. The truth is, if your summer plans include any amount of travel, you’ve already won. But Be — with a capital B — Prepared.
