Spring renewal

The promise of warmer weather and longer days has put some spring in my step. With daylight savings comes the extra hour of sun, a chance to renew, regroup, and refresh our wardrobes. It is still only Mid-March on the calendar, so the weather can be fickle like it was this week–with degrees way into the 60’s and back down to the low 40’s. I find that choosing pops of color, and prints like florals, will always brighten my day. Like I’ve said before it is always smart to layer and work your winter pieces with the new spring garb for those awkward days when you are not sure what to wear. Everybody faces that challenge in the mornings.

Here I have paired a crisp white shirt — essential for Spring– a Jason Wu floral vest– yeah it’s Jason Wu for Target remember this video (#totesamaze), and mustard jeans because condiments are all the rage.

Dsquared2 jacket, Alexander Wang white shirt, Jason Wu for Target vest , Dannijo necklace, LF tote, Jimmy Taverniti jeans, Maison Martin Margiela shoes

The kick-ass denims jeans are Jimmy Taverniti and what makes them amazing is that he was the original founder of the garment dye. The dye is a distinctive washing technique, which is done over and over again to create the softest feeling fabric that literally hugs your skin. I didn’t want to take these babies off. Taverniti’s new collection doesn’t disappoint. See the full line right here:  www.jimmytaverniti.com/  And finally if you have been hibernating like a bear all winter, this spring is all about color. Remember this (Clickety click) color story… and this story way back last September…Spring trends.!! Yeah I thought so.
