If this past week was any indication, Spring is approaching quickly. If I were to describe Spring as a personality, I would have to say that Spring is moody and funky, and can be extremely fickle and unpredictable. Last week we reached a high of 75 degrees and today, it’s pouring rain, and a high of 40. Mood? Spring #fail. One day it’s hot, then it’s cold. Today is raining and hailing, and suddenly, the sun comes out! That said, March is worst of the bunch. I love the months of April and May when the trees and flowers are in bloom. It is such a pretty time of year. The fluctuations in weather bring about various complications, namely, what to wear?! When you get dressed in the morning for a day at work, you don’t want to play the personality game where lose the battle of who wore it best. My tips for a successful start? Join the Spring forward team. Wear neutrals. Stay half asleep like the rest of us. Layer with some key pieces for the season. There are great sales going on right now – an even better reason to start fresh. If you need me, I will be Spring cleaning. Click down below to see my edit on what’s new and what can’t be missed.
I had the ultimate pleasure of visiting and a personal fitting at the DVF store in NYC in the Meatpacking district, where I got a private tour of the store and showroom, and exclusive looks for the upcoming season. I met with Chantal, a fabulous person and stylist who is such a pleasure to work with. you can contact her here DVF.email@example.com to purchase or any inquiries about what I am wearing!
See my top picks, including this tie-front blouse, snakeskin sandals, and a leather jacket just right for Spring!
