Printed Matter

While I love to stock up on classic staples, I also have an intense appreciation for all things fun and whimsical. Call me crazy, yes you can, but I’ve been known to throw on floral pants with a simple white tee one day, and a striped tee with denim overalls the next. My blog should’ve been called Cray Chameleon. That can be my next venture. By wearing prints, I am partly preparing for the prints that will manifest on my limbs come Fall. (See Prada) Blue jeans are the perfect companion, but when you want to shake it up a bit, and push fashion to its limits, I wear prints. Maybe its the crazy weather we are having, but all I feel like wearing is playful clothes on a daily basis. While there aren’t any rules, summer is the time to have some fun and go bold if you choose. Bright colors and bold graphics. They sure are guaranteed attention getters.

See what I mean? Pops of color + whimsical behavior = attention getter. And contrary to popular belief, you won’t need to work-out anymore if you put on a printed tent dress. Startling visuals really work better in a relaxed fit– not skin-tight. It really works the oh-my-gawd-how-did-I manage-to-eat-everything-in-sight-this-weekend magic.

And even better, I can even do a dance in it. The Rumba? The Twist? Wanna come dancing with me?

As far as dancing shoes on cobblestone streets go? These strappy sandals below will the prize. No wonder they are called Illusion sandals.

Derek Lam dress, Oscar de la Renta Illusion sandal, Chanel bag, Melinda Maria turquoise necklace, Ivanka Trump black onyx necklace, nOir ring, Alexander McQueen sunglasses, Pono bracelet.

But beware flabby arms and stomach, fashion week is around the corner. That’s all for now. Bye!  xoxo
