Five Things You Didn’t Know You Needed for Fashion Week

Happy Wednesday! It’s hard to believe August is over and New York Fashion Week is almost here, for real. It also coincides with back to school for many, including mom duties and of course, it’s all happening at once. Just in the nick of time, I am partnering with Stylight for this survival kit of the Five Things You Didn’t Know You Needed for Fashion Week. OR, if you’re not going to the shows, stay tuned here because you need more than just new pencils to kickstart your fall.

Fashion Week is and has been an exclusive event only for the fashion elite. This season is no different with even stricter guidelines and a higher bar has been placed on fashion enthusiasts sans tickets to shows.

Whether you work in or out of the home, fashion is and should be a conversation that we are all invited to share our voice and participation. Fortunately, with the advances in technology and fashion, you no longer have to be at the catwalk to join this conversation.

Five Things You Didn’t Know You Needed For Fashion Week

Here are the five products you will need to kickstart your September:

A Journal. While you are watching the shows, or just need to take notes on the latest trends, you will need a notebook to write everything down.

Rituals Cosmetics Good Luck Scrub. My morning will not get better than with this organic scrub combined with nourishing vitamins to keep your skin glowing.

Phone battery pack. Everyone needs a battery pack, and you and your phone need hydration i.e. juice.

Eye Mask. After a long hard day reporting on the front lines or at work, hit the snooze button for an extra hour with this mask. Studies have shown that we need between 7-8 hours of sleep but rarely get it in our active busy lives.

Rituals Cosmetics’ Happy Buddha Foaming Shower GelReduce stress and tension with the relaxing scent or orange and cedar with this foaming shower gel.

Now that I have named these top products that you need, I am partnering with Stylight for a giveaway right now. Here are the requirements to keep in mind:

  1. What a great giveaway! I really could have used a battery pack to charge my phone yesterday 🙂 To answer your question, I’m empowered to have a voice in the fashion community because I make a concerted effort to “listen” to what is going on around me. I’m empowered by being open — open to new input, thoughts, and people. Staying open simply enriches my voice. Thank you!
