Making a case for ultra-violet in these dark and chaotic times might seem a bit too ambitious. For 2018, Pantone has named ultra violet the color of the year for a reason. Ms. Eiseman, the executive director of the Pantone Color Institute said, “We wanted to pick something that brings hope and an uplifting message.” This is the color-psychology equivalent of a theory that says that when you make yourself smile, you feel happier. I like this sentiment. This bright hue is said to promote originality, ingenuity and visionary thinking that points us toward the future. As a colour eschewed by the mainstream out of fear for its gaucheness, how does one wear Pantone’s regal hue in real life? First of all, the easiest way to wear purple is to use it sparingly as an accent.. As undergarments this color works perfectly. My tips on wearing ultra violet Pantone’s color of the year took some effort. Not only are lilac, lavender, and ultra violet unlikely color combinations, on the contrary. that is exactly why they work together.
